The EUROCOMPULSION® HYBRID/BIG TURBO UPGRADE is a direct drop-in turbo for all turbocharged 2.0L GME based drive-trains (Alfa Romeo Giulia / Stelvio) and requires no modifications to install. 

An upgrade over the stock turbocharger, these units feature:

  • EC Bespoke 9 Blade Billet High Performance compressor wheel, taller, thinner blades, extended fin tips, smaller hub and improved back design.
  • Custom Turbine Wheel/Shaft, updated 9 blade design
  • Titanium Ceramic Coating
  • Ported & Polished Housings
  • Our compressor wheels are sourced from the USA and feature State of the Art VSR re-balancing.
  • "Z" bearing, 360 degree thrust design, which is already equipped on the factory turbos.
  • Capable of supporting 400+bhp

 

TUNING AND TESTING:

Our turbo system is supported by a EURO+DRIVE Big Turbo Flash tune (using our tuning system) and our EC POWER BOOSTER controller, which enables you to retain more control over limiting or increasing boost only under certain conditions and scenarios. This helps improve power delivery but also drivability for everyday conditions on this larger turbo setup.

Our EC POWER BOOSTER has 4 settings: OFF, STREET, SPORT, and RACE. All of which are custom mapped for this turbo system based on driving demands and conditions. Using this with the ECU tune and turbo was pivotal in allowing for more control over turbo activity and drivability. This allows you to run lower boost for street driving, and upwards of 30psi at full race mode.

Our EURO+DRIVE Hybrid/BIG Turbo tune is full of new features and adjustments for power beyond Phase 2 and this turbo setup. These include:

  • True RACE mode (ECU changes that allow for correct reference mode and communication between the ECU and BCM while the DNA switch is in Race mode for those with the RDNA switch modification).
  • EGR adjustments
  • LT intercooler cooling strategies
  • Spark Advance and new Torque management strategies
  • After Run Cooling Optimization for faster temp reduction

- EXISTING EURO+DRIVE CUSTOMERS will receive this map with purchase of our Turbo Upgrade and EC POWER BOOSTER bundle. Simply fill out your tune request form and upload to the portal.

- NON EURO+DRIVE users are free to purchase this turbo system as an upgrade, but you will not achieve the same results as our test car (using both the EC POWER BOOSTER and EURO+DRIVE).
