TUNERLINK MAPPING:
Our initial goal was to create a well rounded, all purpose map for the Mustang Ecoboost that would encompass improved drivability all around, increase linear torque for performance (and sustain it throughout the powerband), and smooth power while still keeping the setup reliable.
TUNE NOTES:
Cooling is key on the Ecoboost Mustang. Right out of the gate we realized there was power to be had by getting the temperatures down, and we were able to do much more with tuning on even our Phase 1 once our EC Upgraded Intercooler was installed. We highly recommend an intercooler upgrade for anyone deciding to tune, regardless of the stage.

DYNO:
Dyno runs were performed on our 2WD/4WD HLS Dyno, with power acquired from the rear axle. Corrections are in SAE.
Vehicle is a MY2018 Ford Mustang Ecoboost 2.3L, 10-Speed Auto, completely stock with 91 Octane.
Stock Runs were done with 71 F Ambient Temps. Tuned Runs were done in 89 F Ambient Temps.
Engine horsepower calculated by dyno based on dissipation read at the time of the run (using the gear ratio, the dyno measures power lost on coast down). The dyno software uses this dissipation to calculate an engine horsepower number.
