TORQUE SOLUTIONS BLOW-OFF ADAPTER PLATE (1.4L MULTIAIR TURBO)

The install was very easy with the right tools, I already had a GFB diverter valve and tis fit right on top of it, make sure you order longer screws just mention it in the order notes.
The pppsssshh is just perfect! Gave the car the character it needed.
I also installed the V2.1 intake so the sounds were really amplified and I can hear the turbo stutter easily.

I’m completely stock, only bought this with the intention of getting that BOV sound and thats what I got. Very happy. Do not feel any power changes. The ”sneeze” sound will activate around 5psi for every gear. With the windows up and music on its hard to hear but crack a little bit of the window and you’ll definitely hear it 10/10

I'll be honest, I bought this one along with the Go Fast Bits DV+ - planning to install them both together. Which I did. When installed with the DV+, it becomes incredibly difficult to insert the end of the EC 4.1 Intake, but there's more: the clamp doesn't make it past the "turbo bulge". I tried the dishsoap magic many suggested, but to no avail.

As a result, the clamp could only be placed before the actual turbo intake portion, and driving around would cause the intake tube to slowly but surely slide out. Additionally, I'll be honest: I didn't notice any difference in the sound, or "woosh" as some refer to it. Ealier today, I removed it from the car, leaving only the DV+ addon installed, and the Abarth performed perfectly just as before.

My suggestion is as follows: either install the DV+ only (my personal pick), or the Blow-off Valve Adapter. With only one of these installed, it doesn't create as long of an "extension" of the diverter valve, and both the clamp and the 4.1 intake tube make it in past the "turbo bulge". Everything sits nice and snug, and gives me the security I'd expect when installing anything on the engine bay.

The Torque Solutions BOV adapter makes the turbo noise much better. The sound is not too loud but more noticeable and pleasing than when the stock recirculating system is used. With the windows up it is barely noticeable. Mine is installed with a RRM intake and the GFB DV+. Installation took about an hour with hand tools. Did not remove the bumper, but did have to remove intake piping and twist my hands in weird ways to get it done. (Normal car part installation) I can imagine that this part will decrease my MPG because I'll be revving it higher just to hear the Whoosh!
