FORGE RECIRCULATING BLOW OFF VALVE (1.4L MULTIAIR TURBO)

I received it today, I am very happy, little by little I am in the process of assembling my Abarth 500, thank you EC, excellent service!

I've tried the GFB+ and the Turbosmart Kompact but the vehicle never really felt right it didn't hold boost, it was constantly losing power, but after i installed the Forge BOV the vehicle now responds like it should, It idles and runs smoothly and at 2000 RPMS the vehicle just comes alive holding boost the way it should.

i had the gfb valve, but the renegade never seemed to run right with it. the power was like a light switch and came on at 3000 rpms. with this forge valve, i can make power at 2000 rpms and actually pull hills in 6th gear now. best mod i have done to my renegade so far!

Context for this review: Currently running a stage 1 Tune with the power pack that's offered.
I found that the GFB diverter addition was helpful, but still didn't feel as tight when it came to spooling the turbo and getting strong pulls.
After installing this unit, the difference was night and day. Pulls were much more consistent and my pressures were hitting higher quicker. The GFB added an extra seal point which also means another potential leak point. This unit was a more intensive install, but the video on this page and the Forge Motorsports YouTube tutorial really cleared things up and made the install a breeze.
Highly recommend this unit if you are want a more reliable drive or if you are serious about squeezing more power out of these little engines

This is a fantastic product. Anyone with a turbo 1.4 liter engine should be using this. The factory diverter valve is terrible, and you’ll notice significant changes once you change to the forge BOV. The car holds boost pressure now and runs much stronger. The only other modification I have is the eurocompulsion FMIC. These two mods are a must if you want your car to run better and to be reliable. I went with the recirculating unit because I wanted to keep it as close to stock as possible. The car idles better and runs much smoother. Without this mod you’re almost guaranteed to have a boost leak. Great product, highly recommend!
