EBC BLUE STUFF BRAKE PADS (ALFA ROMEO GIULIA/STELVIO 2.9L QV)

EBC Bluestuff NDX for the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio 2.9L is a high friction sport and race material which is suitable for road use in USA and Asian markets. The material has had much success on the track with quality aftermarket calipers (multi piston systems with better release and cooling and larger rotors, such as Brembo calipers) and limited success with street based calipers where pad size and caliper drag can challenge any brake material.

The biggest advantage of Bluestuff NDX is their bite from cold and progressive brake feel and the ability to bring a car to a complete stop.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Designed to take extreme heat without fading
  • Creates a great deal of friction for exceptional stopping power
  • Good pedal feel is a result of the medium hardness pad material
  • Gentle on the rotors
  • Strong braking even when cold
  • Ideal for street cars that see track use
  • Sold Per Axle(4 Pads Included)

APPLICATIONS:

  • 2017+ Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio 2.9L (ALL)

NOTE:

  • Not for use with vehicle Equipped with Carbon Ceramic Braking Systems

Great Pads

I really like these blue stuff pads on my Giulia Quadrifoglio. I track 4c per year but it’s also my daily driver!

Great track brakes, can also use for daily driving

I installed this in my Giulia Quadrifoglio for a track day, I was able to get 2 hard track days with about 4000 miles of street driving in between, even throughout the Midwest winter the brakes did pretty well while daily driving (As a reference, OEM brake pads might only last 1 hard track day).
The bad: they generate a lot of brake dust, they squeal when stopping at slow speeds particularly when cold in stop-n-go traffic
The good: great bite in cold weather, no fade at the track with a 3600 pound sedan going from 130 to 60 mph in a heartbeat
Overall: I really liked them, but I'll try the EBC yellow stuff and see if they have less dust and squeal with hopefully similar track performance
