 NEU-F is proud to release their torque mount bushing for the ABARTH/500T. The NEU-F Torque mount bushing works with the OEM rubber bushing to provide a better more rigid connection between the transmission mount and sub-frame. Less movement in the system will result in smoother shifts and less engine movement under heavy acceleration aiding in a crisper throttle response. Made of 80A Durometer. Made in the USA. (1) needed per car. Excellent bang for the Buck!

Great mod for shifter mount rigidity

Well made, perfect fit onto tranny mount "dog bone" for C510 transmission on Fiat 500 Abarth.

Car feels more composed

Cheap little thing, didn’t expect too much but it did not disappoint! It cleans up drivetrain slop way more than I thought it even could, shifting feels much crisper and throttle response is definitely improved. Before when downshifting and rev matching you could feel the drivetrain oscillating and flopping about a bit which I just chalked up to being the way the car is, but now it’s gone. The driving feels more confident and composed, and it pairs well with my Bonalume short shifter. Now the cons: DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. I was not immediately aware of the torque specs so I just tightened it down until it wasn’t going anywhere. Well that was a big mistake! Massive shaking and vibrations at low RPMs made it very unpleasant to set off from a stop. Above 2000 it was lovely but below that was terrible. Now, having loosened back to the recommended spec of around 95 Nm (I think?), it is much more pleasant. Still some rough NVH under 2000rpm but not nearly as pronounced, and if you adjust your clutch work accordingly you can drive around it mostly at set off. As before once you’re moving you shouldn’t really drop below 2000rpm anyways or you’re driving the car wrong, so it’s nothing but smooth and crisp at speed. Overall a pretty easy cheap mod that does have a noticeable improvement on driving experience.

I’m amazed at what this little insert did. Throttle response feels so much better cause the motor Is sitting stiffer. It’s not to stiff like a after market engine mount kit but stiff enough where you can feel the difference in performance but no sacrificing drivability. Lower rpm get a slight vibration which you expect since it’s stiffer but not to bad where it’s annoying of any kind. Driving hard and shifting feels so much better. Like instant power since the motor instead torquing so much and it just wants to go. For the price it’s a great upgrade and well worth it ! Once again EC is the way to go

Good addition, can be a pain to install.

My Abarth has 53,000 miles and this spacer firmed up the drivetrain somewhat. I wouldn’t say it transformed my car, but it was a fairly cheap upgrade and improved drivetrain feel while accelerating and shifting. I’ve got stock exhaust and getting the bolt out was a pain with the exhaust in tact. I had to wrench and pry the bolt in place around the flex pipe. There are other cheaper options for the same thing, but it wasn’t too expensive.
