GENUINE ALFA ROMEO FUEL CAP (ALFA ROMEO GIULIA 2.0L & 2.9L QV)

There’s just something about it that gives the Alfa a little more feel of a fighter jet than a sports car

The only negative i could share is that it does not fit in the holder on the fuel door, a bit of an inconvenience when filling up.

This fuel filler cap is something that can only be clandestinely enjoyed by the vehicle owner as it's not visible in day-to-day circumstances. The build quality and heft is impressive (billet aluminum?) and the jewel-like cap itself is nicely-detailed with the Alfa logo. Four stars because the fuel cap retention bracket molded on the fuel filler door does not securely accommodate the aluminum cap when it's removed for fueling the vehicle. I can only imagine the string of imprecations I'll utter when the cap (inevitably) is inadvertently dislodged from its perch and swings down on its tether to dent the fender.
